I've seen some comics do this before, so... hey Greg, in lieu of a comic you haven't gotten yet, how about just posting the written script? That works just fine.

(( This is why I'm afraid to try to hire an artist for my own stories--and I'm a lousy artist myself. I know there are some who would love to follow Rhiann and other of my characters, but call me chicken when it comes to relying on others even when money is involved.))

I'm thinking text-only updates might be the way to go for the forseeable future if Greg wants to keep things going. Heck, Alien Dice has a very neat combination for its updates: small comic/picture with text update. Might be less strenuous on an artist to do smaller images while Greg does the bulk of the update work via story posts.

Well, I tweeted to Greg yesterday about the possibility of text-only updates for a bit and it seems there's some interest there. I think the key will be for us to show him that there would be community support for such an endeavor. And considering the comic's luck with holding onto artists, if we hope to get any sort of forward movement with GG canon, well I sure hope everyone can be supportive of whatever medium Greg chooses to move forward with.

I'm going to be honest because Greg deserves at least that much: I'll read it, but only if he stops promising--or alluding to--a slew of updates that never come. The last thing I want to see is another false start.
